Asset management reporting is the process of tracking and reporting on assets under management (AUM). It is a critical tool for ensuring the efficient use of resources and maximizing return on investment while remaining in compliance with any relevant rules or regulations. There are many different methods used to manage assets, but all require some form of asset management reporting. This can be done manually or through asset management reporting software.
One popular software for asset management reporting is the Clearwater Analytics solution, which gives asset managers the ability to view and report on their entire portfolio from a single dashboard. Each day, Clearwater aggregates and validates data on more than $6.4 trillion in AUM to provide users with accurate and up-to-date information on their portfolios.

Organizations use a variety of methods to manage their assets, depending on their needs. Many organizations rely on Excel spreadsheets to keep track of their assets, while others use home-grown solutions or dedicated software.
For a more streamlined and efficient process, businesses are increasingly turning to investment reporting software designed to meet the needs of the modern market. Finding software that can automate processes around data aggregation, validation, and reporting can allow businesses to allocate more time to data analysis rather than data management.
Ideally, an asset management system should include portfolio performance, risk, compliance, and custom reports. It can be difficult to find a client reporting asset management solution that can meet these wide-ranging needs, but luckily, there is a solution on the market that can help.
Clearwater Analytics delivers the investment data that organizations need to drive performance every day. As the industry-leading SaaS solution for investment accounting and reporting, Clearwater enables growth of AUM for more than 1,100 clients including pension plans, governments, global insurers, asset managers, and corporations.
Depending on portfolio size and complexity, there are a variety of reports that a business may require. Some reports may be designed to deliver insights into portfolio performance, while others may be aimed at ensuring regulatory compliance.
It can be a challenge to manage all necessary reporting systems in-house, which is a major reason business choose to use a dedicated investment reporting software. Automated systems can free up a huge amount of resources that would otherwise be spent on time-consuming, error-prone processes.
Clearwater Analytics is the only true SaaS solution for investment accounting and reporting. There are other software providers that have spent the past decade patching their offerings together to give the appearance of having a complete SaaS solution, but they fall short.
With a world-class product and client-centric servicing, Clearwater has established itself at the forefront of investment accounting and reporting. Below are some of the reasons businesses choose to implement Clearwater.
