Jake Stultz is a manager in the Financial Regulatory Services Division of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners. Since joining the NAIC in February 2017, his duties have included assisting with developing uniform and comprehensive guidance to statutory accounting principles, monitoring the development of the IASB International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), providing technical advisory services for statutory and GAAP accounting and assist in the development of model law and model regulations pertaining reinsurance transactions.
In addition to his employment at the NAIC, Jake has served as auditor for RSM McGladrey and PricewaterhouseCoopers in Kansas City, where he provided assurance services to mid-size manufacturing and construction companies, tribal gaming entities and employee benefit plans. He has also served as the Controller for a real estate company and as an insurance agent for his own insurance agency.
Jake earned a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting and Bachelor of Science in Business in Accounting from Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas.
