Hello Clearwater Community!
As the excitement of Clearwater Connect 2024 winds down in Boise, I’m in awe of the powerful connections at the heart of this conference. It’s been an incredible week watching our global community come together to exchange ideas, experience new technology, and inspire one another.
Yesterday, I had the pleasure of joining many of you at the Women in Networking breakfast, where we heard from Olympian Summer Sanders. Throughout her talk, Summer encouraged us to “do the things that scare you,” emphasizing how overcoming fear can lead to personal growth and accomplishment.
As we sipped mimosas and shared stories, the essence of mentorship and partnership truly resonated. These moments remind us that while we each strive for success in our roles, the journey is far more fulfilling when we have allies by our side to help balance the scales of our professional lives.
My own passion for marathon swimming mirrors the resilience we all bring to our careers—endurance. Every lap and every mile reinforces the idea that our collaborative efforts often surpass what we can achieve alone. Clearwater Connect epitomizes the spirit of togetherness that helps us go the distance.
Our Olympic speakers shared personal stories of resilience and determination. While they spoke of medals and podiums, it was the moments when they lifted others that truly resonated. Olympian Kristin Armstrong’s keynote exemplified this ethos, illustrating that true success lies in the people we guide and support. Olympian Anthony Ervin shared his inspiring comeback story to the Rio 2016 Olympics, highlighting that his gold medal victory was made possible by the incredible support of his coaches, friends, mentors, professors, and family.
I am truly moved by the unity of our community, standing shoulder to shoulder as we tackle complex challenges within large financial institutions and strive for excellence in corporate treasury functions. Meeting so many of you—whether at the Boise Centre or one of the many downtown restaurants—has been enriching. The friendships formed, the insights gained from our conversations, and our shared vision for the future inspire me as we look ahead.
