Office Engagement: CWAN Labs June 2023

Clearwater hosted a two-day hackathon on June 8 and 9. This was an excellent opportunity for us to come together and work on innovative projects that can benefit our customers, our company, and our internal teams.

We saw many benefits to participating in this hackathon. Here are just a few:

1. Collaboration: Colleagues from different departments worked together and learned new skills and approaches to problem-solving.
2. Innovation: Participants practiced thinking outside the box and experimented to create solutions and ideas that benefit our business.
3. Learning: The team gained a better understanding of technology and the development process.
4. Having fun: It was fun to take a break from our routine and work on something different with our colleagues.

This event was also a great way to bring colleagues together across business functions, as no technical background was required.

The hackathon was a huge success, with over 300 participants. The enthusiasm and innovative ideas truly made the event a success. Shortly after the event, winners were announced in three categories: Best use of LLMs (Large Language Models), best use of AI (Excluding LLMs), and most likely to be used in production.
