Joe Daniels is Illinois Treasurer of State Michael W. Frerichs’ Chief Information Officer. In this role, he oversees the Information Technology Division and the security posture for the state treasurer’s office. He has garnered many accolades in his ability to future proof technologies to ensure they meet the three standards of security, ease of use, and innovation.
Joe is a 12-year veteran of the Illinois National Guard and was part of the Defensive Cyber Operations Element out of Joint Force Headquarters. He has been involved in a volunteer effort to educate small to medium size businesses on the importance of Cyber Security, growing the right IT Teams, and re-shaping legacy government infrastructure to current agile architectures.

Grant Wallace is Arkansas Treasurer of State Dennis Milligan’s Chief Deputy Treasurer for Programs and Services. As Chief Deputy Treasurer, he oversees the communications, human resources, IT and 529 and financial education departments in the office. He serves as an executive team member, senior advisor, directs communication strategy for the office, oversees the operation of the 529 education savings, ABLE and financial education programs, and advises on policy and legislative issues.
Recently he was awarded the State Financial Officers Foundation (SFOF) “State Government Staff Leadership Award,” and served two years as the State Staff Representative for the SFOF Leadership Team. Wallace currently serves as the co-chair for the National Association of State Treasurers Chief of Staff and Chief Deputy caucus.

Tom Lofton is a Principal Solutions Consultant for Clearwater Analytics where he works specifically with public funds clients. He has spent his career mostly in the fixed income investment management space with stops at different institutions around the country. Prior to joining Clearwater Analytics, Tom was a fixed income portfolio manager for the Oregon State Treasury. In that capacity, he oversaw the fixed income portfolio for the state treasurer’s funds, the Short Term Investment Fund & started a fund that had longer-term duration for an LGIP option as well.
Since joining Clearwater Analytics, Tom has been instrumental in helping Clearwater’s public funds team expand while helping Clearwater’s product team uncover new opportunities in the public finance & debt space, interest allocation and apportionment, and public funds collateral programs.

Greg works with organizations in the private and public sectors to help them automate their investment accounting and reporting processes by finding solutions that the Clearwater platform provides. He has consulted extensively with corporations starting their investment portfolios through IPO’s or funding rounds as well as with other organizations that have had longstanding investment portfolios to allow technology to revolutionize investment operations.
Greg has a bachelor’s degree from Weber State University in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance.
In his spare time, Greg enjoys watching the Utah Jazz, going to Disneyland, and playing putt-putt golf.
