The 2016 Clearwater User Conference had the highest number of attendees ever, bringing together 225 members of the Clearwater community from all over the US, Europe, and even Bermuda! The conference, held at the new Clearwater headquarters in the heart of downtown Boise, Idaho, featured two days of keynotes, 20 sessions across four tracks, and countless opportunities for networking and collaboration.
Industry Expertise, Updates, and More
Attendees took part in sessions covering accounting, analysis, and Clearwater workshops, along with exclusive one-on-one trainings with their Clearwater team. Sessions like Audit Support and FASB Updates and The Five Click Audit covered how to seamlessly provide the right data for auditors when they need it. Interactive sessions featuring co-presenters from JP Morgan Asset Management and PIMCO highlighted the importance of collaboration and communication in the world of investment accounting, while Statutory Updates informed audience members on the latest NAIC hot topics.
Three Clearwater best practices workshops provided valuable insight for both new and experienced users, covering everything from getting started with Clearwater to advanced reporting and customization. After the sessions, many conference-goers met up with their account managers for face-to-face meetings and trainings.
After Hours Networking
Attendees gathered for a reception on the patio of the new Clearwater headquarters for refreshments, great conversations, and beautiful views of the Boise foothills. Conference-goers quickly found their Clearwater associates and industry peers to review the day’s events and network into the evening.
